报告题目:High Rate Nanomanufacturing toward to Emerging Technologies and Opportunities

摘要:Conducting materials have been widely investigated due to their extraordinary advantages over the traditional materials, including wide and tunable electrical conductivity, facile production approach, high mechanical stability, light weight, low cost and ease in textile materials processing. Formation of conductive nanomaterials has obtained promising functional properties and achieved improved performance in different areas, such as energy storage, sensors, energy harvesting, textile industry and protection applications. In this talk, innovation and nanoengineering conductive materials will be discussed from research from the last years. The relevant synthesizing experiences are outlined and abundant application examples are illustrated. The approaches of production of nano-conductors are discussed and the efficacy and benefits of newest trends for the preparation of multifunctional nanomaterials/nanocomposites are presented. Mechanism of their electrical conductivity and the ways to tailor their properties are investigated. The remaining challenges in developing better conductive materials based nanomaterials are also elaborated.

报告人简介:柳祯,美国弗罗斯特堡州立大学教授、博导。2012年度国家优秀留学生入选者。2004年在兰州大学化学化工学院获得理学学士;2008年在美国Tufts University获理学硕士学位;2012年在美国Auburn University获得工学博士学位。此后分别在Johns Hopkins University和University of Maryland作博士后研究员和助理研究员,参与多项美国能源部和自然科学基金委科研项目。2016年被美国Frostburg State University聘为Tenure Track Professor,在工程物理系开展教学与科研工作。主要从事新型高分子纳米能源材料的研究,包括复合材料、电催化剂材料、电极材料和超电容材料。重点研究兴趣在于新型能源材料的合成及其在电化学和清洁能源方面的应用。在《J.Am.Chem.Soc》,《Chem. Comm.》,《Nano Letters》等国际重要刊物上发表50余篇学术论文,文章总引用次数1500余次, h-index=23。2012年获Auburn University优秀博士毕业论文奖(Top 1)。发表论文多次被英国Nature主刊,美国Chemical Engineering News,欧洲CERN Courier作为亮点报道。长期担任Nanoscale,ACS Applied Materials & Interphases,Scientific Reports等20余种国外主要工程材料杂志特邀审稿人。
